Namaskaar. We start a new series : The Qualities of a Parabhakta (Wise Devoted Man). In the just concluded Chapter 12 of Bhagavad Gita we were introduced to a Man of Wisdom, devoted to the Lord in Verses 13 to 19. The Lord enumerated, in much detail, about 35 qualities of such a person and now we have the pleasure of the commentary of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati who has beautifully explained each of these qualities with deep meanings in his landmark publication “Bhagavad Gita Home Study” (BGHS) (a monumental work in 9 volumes covering all 18 Chapters in great detail). Here are his comments which I shall be posting over several posts, slowly so we can understand properly. Not a word from this is mine. Its entirely Pujya Swamiji’s. However any mistakes that may have crept in inadvertently while putting up these posts are entirely mine. Pujya Swamiji is man of perfection and compassion. Those who wish to purchase this 9 volume set may do so here. It will be a family treasure.
